Today I faced insecurities and came out ahead. I also faced pain I didn’t know I still had in me. I guess it is okay to know I haven’t forgiven people whom I thought I forgave. Now I can at least extend forgiveness to them – should they ever decide to receive it. This week has been crazy and disturbing and real, but somehow I am truly more grounded in Him than I ever have been. He will never leave me or forsake me, and ultimately that is the only promise that ever matters. Together forever. Inseparable. Eternally connected. My God and I. His people and I. I will never be alone again. I am safe.
