I had a revelation today. Last week I listened to a message about how satan is the accuser. Apparently it is what his name means in Hebrew or Greek. One of the things I struggle with in life is bitterness and anger. Today I realized that I don’t want to help satan do his job. I knew that instantly last week, but today I realized that in those words. I don’t want to accuse another child of God. I don’t want to point any fingers. I don’t want to do the devil’s work for him. No, I want to fight the good fight; and never play into his hand in a way that he can use me against God’s other children. Hopefully, this realization will finally actually pop me out of my cycle of bitterness and anger.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way let you light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
