I had a really quite rough morning. It never broke until about noon – about the same time a friend texted me back that she was praying for me. This afternoon has quieted down, and I have been once again grounded in Christ. This morning was really quite rough. My friend reminded me that it is not my battle but God’s. That actually really helped. It cheers me to remember I am part of something so much bigger than myself. It also cheers me because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is the winner. I like being on the winning team.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice, and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5
