God is unbelievably good. I know it. In this moment I know it more than I have ever known it before. This trip to Mexico has been so healing. Some sort of cross between a prayer retreat and a missions trip since God keeps waking me up early in the morning to talk to Him. I love the love on the line song. I think it should be called “the great romance”, but I suppose that title was already taken.

Jesus is my great romance. He loves to romance me more persistently than a man ever will. I couldn’t expect so much of a God. Tomorrow is the last day here, which is so sad. I know it may be time to go home and love there, but here has been so good. God has been healing me in this past week in a way that I couldn’t even imagine. I am so quiet and peaceful that I couldn’t have fathomed that this condition of soul and spirit existed. I hope it sticks when I get back to Jersey. My but do I love Jersey! Been praying for my people back there too. And this week when I get to choose a color, I choose orange because it represents the people and place I love.

A love like this the world will never know.

Now I am off to sit through a Spanish church service, which I can’t understand, that is bound to be an hour and a half long. So I suppose I will have some more time to talk to Jesus on my own.

A love like this the world will never know.

A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said, “be clean.” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Matthew 8
