Victory

I want to weep, but I don’t think I can summon the courage to do so. Instead I am listening to a song about God robbing the grave. I thought I was going to be physically ill today, but I started to feel better about 7 o’clock. I felt sick most of the day. Maybe it was the two ice cream cones that I had at a friend’s house. I like friends who give me two ice cream cones. I had an amazing revelation today. Maybe I will share it later.

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:54-57
