God is so gracious and good. Tonight I was at prayer night at church, and 1 Corinthians 13 was read. It really stood out to me about rejoicing with the truth. This stood out to me because that is something I have learned to do in the last five and a half years. For much of my walk of faith, I would weep with truth and instead choose to live in very codependent relationships. I didn’t want God’s truth to be true. I wanted something else to be true.

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even the pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5
