Last night I emailed a theological question to someone because what I wrote in my last article disturbed me. Would I really be just as righteous as God someday? As I wrote the email, it dawned on me that when I went to heaven, I would have God’s righteousness without the flesh involved but I wouldn’t have God’s position. The response I would have as a human who is righteous would be perfect adoration and worship. Upon having my thoughts confirmed upon rising this morning and reading my email, I really just wanted to go home to heaven. I so want to respond to God the way He wants me to respond. The way that is right and pure and holy. Fifty years seems like way too long to wait.
But now apart from the Law, the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Romans 3
