Overwhelmingly grateful

Today was hands down the best Thanksgiving I have ever had. Quite possibly the best holiday I have ever had. It was truly delightful. I woke up, spent time with God, texted people, ate breakfast, showered, spent time with God, went and hung out with people and ate Thanksgiving food, came home, spent time with God, went and hung out with people and ate Thanksgiving food, came home, spent time with God and got ready for bed. I am so excited to text a few people before bed to tell them how grateful I am for them and then go to bed. Honestly, I am just excited to go to bed. That’s how I know I am an adult. God has told me to rest for the rest of the year. What I have learned as I have begun resting is that I was incredibly tired. I had no idea how tired I was. I keep discovering that there is more resting left to do. It is surprising.

Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30
