Laughing with great joy

What a day! There were so many good parts to it. The very best part must have been the revelation God gave me in my morning quiet time. I woke up with a nightmare. That part sucked, but it is at least normal. The revelation wasn’t at all nightmarish. It was really wonderful. It relieved a major weight I was carrying.

Did you know I became a part of God’s family almost 11 and a 1/2 years ago? It didn’t happen in the last five years since I came to the end of following my own remedy for trying to fix myself. It didn’t happen in the last two and a half years of being “sober”. It happened so long before that! I was part of the wonderful family I know and love here in New Jersey long before I even knew their names and faces. Nothing will ever separate me from God’s love, and nothing will ever remove me from His family.

What else happened today? I laughed with great joy. I was super busy, and I am going to be going to bed late for a Sunday night. I need to hit the hay quickly, so that I can get everything done tomorrow that I need to get done and also get some sleep. This girl is exhausted and the week has not yet begun.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voiceb goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.- Psalm 19:1-4
