Keep it simple

Today is a very good day because tonight is good. This morning was a bit of a battle. When it was time to get up from my time with God, I literally did not have the strength, so I stayed and talked to Him longer. I was so emotionally spent this morning I literally limped while I walked around my apartment. It just seemed to make the task of walking easier. God sure has my plate full this month!

I am not quite sure why I said month. I think my plate is just full anyway! But God is being gracious to me. Last night when I was feeling down about something, He asked me a version of, “But I worked through your work, didn’t I?” Yes, God, You did. He has, and He is amazing.

I am changing. I am growing. By noon today I had decided I was going to start repeating “Christ is enough for me” a whole lot in this stage of my life. Maybe I won’t, but it helped give me strength. Christ is enough for me!

Keep it simple. He has told me to keep it simple, so I will.

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. – 1 Timothy 4:15-16
