I am a conqueror

Dear God, I am scared, Your daughter, Laura. Pretty much that. My counselor says our brains give us a lot of anxiety when we try to make positive changes in our lives and begin to put ourselves into safer and healthier and better environments. And that is the source of all my anxiety right now. I hate anxiety. I really want to commit and tell my brain it can have at it. I am going to follow Jesus. It can get mad. But what if I am not brave enough? Then again, what could any amount of anxiety matter?

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:39
