When the music fades, all is stripped away and I humbly come longing just to see Your majesty. I’ll bring You more than a song for a song in itself is not what You have desired. You search much deeper within than the way things appear. You’re looking into my heart.
Tonight I come to Him with just me. It is all I have. Nothing more. Everything I have to offer was already His in the first place. Tonight I feel His love in the midst of deep pain. I feel like I am experiencing a tiny amount of the pain He daily endures as He watches the pain on this earth. Tonight love really hurts. It amazes me how much God loves us and how good He is.
