I am incredibly tired right now. I even overslept this morning, which happens like once every, well, I can only remember doing it one time in my life when it mattered. This morning didn’t really matter, but I shut my alarm off instead of hitting snooze. That being said, I have been tired all day. The good part is that it is making it incredibly easy for me to rest – just like God has asked me to do right now. I may be nearly too tired to rest tonight.
The only other thought I have is that I am incredibly glad that while the wages of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. I just had one of those “Oh, crap. I have really screwed up” moments. Grace. Grace. Grace. It was over something I already repented from. I just got to see more of its fruit. Yuck.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6
