Doors close, doors open

it is after midnight as I begin to type. Mostly because I have chosen to enjoy God a little bit longer before bed. Today was a very interesting day. It started out with me having to deal with a surprise situation that caused anxiety and ended with something that book-ended the day with a situation that brought anxiety in the morning. There is no way to explain that here. Perhaps I could say this: God is calling and encouraging me to take steps forward. He is inviting me into something new. He is healing me. I am learning that perfect love casts out fear. God is perfect.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18
