I am really tired tonight, but then a lot happened today. I had my first “real” job interview in years today. One, it was weird. Two, it made me really grateful for my jobless, dependent-on-God life. At least I am doing what God has asked me to do right now.
Then I went into the city to have dinner with a friend. Not just any friend, but one from when I was living in my crazy life of addiction. I have always wondered what it would be like to see someone from back then. It was good. I really have changed.
Now I am going to let the dogs I am dogsitting out. Why have a job when God provides in other ways?
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11
