God…
is the resurrection. Yesterday I was reminded of how the righteousness that brings life is God’s righteousness and not what can be manufactured by the law or by people following the law. I am also reminded that God’s righteousness brings life; it doesn’t condemn to death. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:17 NIV. God’s righteousness saves; it does not condemn. It is the righteousness of the Pharisees, that of religion, that condemns. Romans 2 shows how fruitless such righteousness is.
is life. God creates. God re-creates. God gives life. Spirit of life that gives life. I am grateful to have life!
Therefore I….
have been raised to life. The Spirit of God lives in me, raising me to life. I was dead; I am alive. Anything in my physical being that still looks, speaks, or acts like death will be raised to life.
