Beginning to trust?

Saturday – 11:00 pm

I just came home from a Saturday night date night job. I am super exhausted, so I am going to keep this short. I spent the last hour of walking home from work and dog walking trying to freak myself out. I had a calm, peaceful day. It was normal beyond belief; but I thought with everything going on, I should be freaking out. I wasn’t, so I tried to think of the reasons I should be freaking out, so I would freak out. I still didn’t freak out. I cannot decide if that means I am repressing a lot of emotion or if that means I am beginning to learn to trust people.

I talked to God a lot about vulnerability today. Well, when I wasn’t just being super peaceful or trying to freak myself out. I think being vulnerable when I am being accepted is the very hardest.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6
