An emotional break

Compared to yesterday, today was a very boring day emotionally. No, that is not true. It was just pleasant. I woke up without an alarm at 5:12. I felt very loved and happy for much of the morning. I guess the extra time with God is paying off, as is being more open with friends.

This evening I was able to share with my small group some things I have never talked about there or at CR. I realize there are some things I should not do alone. I want to experience the journey with those around me, not just walk along silently beside them.

I thought a lot today about how disappointed I am going to be if I get crowns when I get to heaven instead of people. I do not have any use for them here. What would I do with them there? Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever, the elders fall down before the One seated on the throne, worship the One who lives forever and ever, cast their crowns before the throne, and say: Our Lord and God, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because You have created all things, and because of Your will they exist and were created. – Revelation 4:9-11 HCSB
