The weirdest thing just happened to me, but I don’t think I want to talk about it yet. I have been doing a lot of reflecting lately. This afternoon my counselor said to me that it was a miracle I was here. I started crying and said I know. I have been thinking lately about what a great, big, huge miracle it is that I am here. It isn’t cliche. It isn’t trying to take away from the years of hard work or the buckets of tears I have cried. It is just to say only God could have gotten me here. I never knew how to get here. I never knew “here” even existed.

I will tell you what just happened. I watched a Christmas movie. When it finished, I thought, “Real life is so much better than that.” Real life is so much better than that because He came to save His people from their sins.

But now apart from the Law, the righteousness of God has been made known to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Romans 3
